If you turn off the computer, your Laptop cools down slowly and does not deteriorate quickly. If you put the computer in sleep mode, even if your Laptop does not work, your Laptop remains on, which can spoil more quickly.

To shut down the system immediately, provide the timer as 0 seconds. So that the system gets shut down within 0 seconds or immediately, as shown in this program:
import os
os.system("shutdown /s /t 0")
Remark - The /t 0 is an extra code added to this program (compared to the previous one). Here,/t stands for timer, and 0 indicates 0 seconds. Therefore, after executing this program, the system shuts down within 0 seconds.
Shutdown Computer at Given Time
This program asks the user to enter the number of seconds to set the timer to shut the system:
import os
print("Enter Number of Seconds to Shutdown System: ")
sec = int(input())
strOne = "shutdown /s /t "

The Alt + F4 Sleep Mode Shortcut to shut down Lenovo laptop
As you might know, pressing Alt + F4 closes the current app window, just like clicking the X in the top-right corner of a program. However, if you don't have a window currently selected, you can use Alt + F4 as a shortcut for sleep mode in Windows 10.
To ensure you don't have any tasks in focus, use a shortcut like Win + T, which will focus your cursor on the first item on the taskbar. Then, press Alt + F4, and you'll open the ShutDown Windows dialog box.
Depending on your window system, you'll likely see Shut Down or Sleep in the dropdown box by default. If you're happy with this, press Enter to confirm the selection. Otherwise, use the up and down arrow keys to switch to other options, then hit Enter when you're ready.

You can Create Your Shortcut to Sleep on Windows 10/11
While there's no built-in sleep shortcut for Windows 10 or 11, you can easily make your keyboard shortcut.
Creating a New Shortcut for Shutting Down the Laptop
Start by right-clicking an empty spot on your screen and choosing New > Shortcut to make a fresh shortcut.
In the resulting box, you'll need to type different text depending on whether you want a shortcut key for sleeping or shutting down the computer. Use the following:
To create a shortcut that shuts down Windows immediately and force-closes any open programs:
shutdown.exe -s -t 00 -f
To create a sleep shortcut:
rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0
Unfortunately, there's a slight caveat with the sleep shortcut. If you have hibernation enabled on your computer, this command will cause the computer to hibernate instead of sleep.
To turn off hibernation, hit Win + X again, then choose Command Prompt (Admin), Windows PowerShell (Admin), or Windows Terminal (Admin) from the list. Then, type or paste the following line, followed by entering:
powercfg -h off
Either way, after you enter the command, hit Next, give the shortcut "a name," and click Finish.
Assign a Keyboard Shortcut to the Sleep Command
Now that you have a shortcut to the option you want, you must assign it a key combination to make an actual sleep mode shortcut.
To do this, right-click your new shortcut on the desktop and choose Properties. Select the Shortcut tab at the top, and in the Shortcut key field, type a key combination you'd like to use.
You need to pick a new combination; You should choose something not already used by other programs. In addition, make sure your shortcut combination isn't easy to hit by accident. You don't want to shut down your system suddenly while working.
When you're done, click OK, and your Windows sleep keyboard or shutdown shortcut will be active. If you ever decide you don't want it, delete the shortcut file, which will also remove that keyboard shortcut. You can also clear the Shortcut key field to keep the file without having the shortcut active.

Recover an unsaved PowerPoint– here's how to do it
With the famous Microsoft 365 programs, including Excel, Word, or PowerPoint, users create files daily that often involve a lot of work. This makes it all the worse when a file is accidentally deleted or unsaved. Even unpredictable events such as a power failure or laptop crash can cause files to be lost without saving. Fortunately, there are several methods available to you for recovering a PowerPoint. We'll introduce you to the best possible ways and explain step by step how to recover a PowerPoint file.
If you try to shut an unsaved PowerPoint file, the program will display a warning message on your laptop screen. This message will let you know the PowerPoint file won't close without saving the most recent changes until you confirm. Despite this precaution, deleted data can be protected, and data is lost. Unforescan ben situations can also cause the program to close without saving. However, several ways to recover a PowerPoint have not been kept. In the following, we explain how to recover a PowerPoint.
Temporary files to reconstruct an unsaved PowerPoint
In the so-called "temp" folder, Windows saves temporary files continuously. There's also a possibility that unsaved contents of your PowerPoint can be found in this folder.
Step 1: Search for the file
Open File Explorer and enter "PPT*.tmp" into the search bar. Now, wait and see if the search comes up with anything.
Step 2: Rename the file
If a PowerPoint file appears in File Explorer, you can rename it with .ppt at the end.
Step 3: Recover an unsaved PowerPoint file
Next, please open the file to check whether it's an unsaved PowerPoint file. To recover the file, save it to another location on your computer.

Step 1: Show the last-used files
Open the presentation program, select the menu point "Open," and then open "Recent" from the left menu bar.
Step 2: Recover a PowerPoint file that wasn't saved
Now, you can press the button "Recover Unsaved Presentations."
A folder will now open in which all saved drafts can be found. If the file you're looking for is there, left-click on it and select "Open." Save the file as per usual. You can now continue to work on your presentation.
Recover an old version of a PowerPoint file.
While working on a PowerPoint presentation, unwanted changes can quickly be rectified with the key combination [Ctrl] + [Z]. In this way, lost paragraphs of text can be brought back with just a few clicks. But as soon as you save and close a file, this data will be lost. Follow these steps to recover an old version of a PowerPoint file.
Restoring previous versions of a PowerPoint file
Use the right side of your Mouse to click on a file and click "Previous Versions" from the menu bar. A new window will open in which the corresponding tab is already auto-selected. In this window, previous versions of your PowerPoint file can be found, but only if a recovery point is marked. Select a previous version to restore an old version of your PowerPoint.
Recovering old versions from cloud storage
If you automatically save your files to Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive, or another cloud storage, you can recover an unsaved PowerPoint. Search for the latest versions, manage your old files, and recover the file you're looking for.
